Puppy Mills

 Often, a buyer is unaware that he or she is obtaining a puppy from a puppy mill. Puppy mill dogs can be found in pet stores and on common websites such as Kijiji.  In puppy mills, dogs are forced to reproduce and suffer miserably.  They are often homed in wire cages with no bedding and exposed to the elements.  They are under socialized, neglected, and receive little to no veterinary care.
